"This was our first time visiting Germany and the house was as pictured. Our family of 8 fit comfortably. We had to ask for a few appliances that were listed in description (toaster and microwave) and the host responded promptly and dropped off the requested items. We ate a the local pizza place and it was delicious. We were close enough to multiple bigger cities and enjoyed those as well (Frankfurt, Cologne, Ramstein, Bad Kreuznach, Kaiserslautern). Alle Geschäfte sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Hinter dem Haus ist ein gemütlicher Sitzplatz. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. "We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels.The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. There were no instructions in the flat at all .The lights and other electrical systems were ridiculously complicated. Also no instructions about hot water...

"Joe welcomed us, what can I say about this guy other than he is the nicest and friendliest person we met on our holiday. He couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. He recommended attractions and took the time to chat and put that extra care and attention into things. It felt like a home from home. Thanks Joe! The apartment was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. Fortunately it was quiet whilst we were there but I could see how this place would attract crowds of people. The local area is quite and peaceful and you're never far away from a castle or a piece of history to explore. I went there with a small family and we all enjoyed ourselves. We had the apartment with a kitchenette and also one of the adjoining rooms with an en suite. Great parking facilities, we had a transit van and had no issues parking, the local area also has lots of little walks. We didn't use the other facilities at the hotel, it's said to have a sauna and wellness room and we also saw a bar, which wasn't open when we were there but I assume it can be quite busy when the place is full. I would definitely stay here again!"

"As a worldwide traveler and reviewer, I am very impressed! We arrived at 08.00. The Hotel had previously communicated a 15.00 check in but, that they would do their best to allocate a room earlier if possible. As it turned out, this was not possible on arrival however, they safely stored our baggage until we returned at 13.30 by which hour, they had readied a room for us to occupy. We paid a small additional fee for a balcony which, afforded us a good air flow as, the rooms are NOT air conditioned however, do have an oscillating tower fan. The room was spotless. Well furnished and with smart TV, Bathroom with a bath tub and overhead shower (Water temperature excellent) as well as a mini safe, kettle with tea bags and coffee and finally, a welcome bottle of water. By the way, the hotel does provide drinks for the mini bar to be provided upon request. We cannot vouch for the breakfast as we did not book this to be provided. However, there is a nearby Bakery to have breakfast just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel does offer use of their Sauna for an additional €5 per person too. The lady receptionist was absolutely terrific as was he colleague later in the day. Friendly, attentive and informative too. YES! I do recommend this hotel to others."
