Great stay

Another relaxing and enjoyable stay. Always a warm welcome at reception and friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. The young man playing the guitar in the evening was a lovely bonus, very enjoyable.

Pleasant stay

This hotel is a kind of "Grande Dame" amongst buildings with lots of old world flair. Had a wonderful corner room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms required a deep cleaning, maintenance and refurbishment. No AC in room made impossible to sleep and rest. Shocking amount of big spiders and wasps.

No air conditioning or even fan in the room, with the heat these day it is quite uncomfortable People are very nice Foreign languge not a strong suit Pool was close just for our very date ! How unfortunate!!!

Check in was terrible. The woman at the front reception was rude and kept insisting that our reservation was for one adult rather than one adult and two kids. She fought us on it despite proof on reservation. Further, we had to insist on an additional bed since it had one queen, we paid cash for breakfast but wasn’t on the breakfast list and had to insist upon the Wi-Fi code. For the class of hotel this service was unacceptable. Much better places to stay in this town. Would not recommend.

De kamer was echt ontzettend klein en m.n. de badkamer was vervallen en niet schoon. Het zwembad op de foto’s blijkt een openbaar zwembad te zijn (wat toevallig aan het hotel zit). Toen we daar kwamen was het afgeladen vol en geen vrije stoel of plekje meer te vinden. ‘s avonds willen we nog wat drinken in de bar, maar die is de hele dag en avond niet open geweest. Restaurant is een buffet.. Kortom, veel te veel geld betaald voor een ondermaats hotel!

Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles was benötigt wird. Wir hatten ein großes Bett, einen kleinen Schrank mit Safe, einen Schreibtisch, kleinen Kühlschrank und einen Fernseher. Das Badezimmer war recht klein und man musste ein bisschen aufpassen wenn man die Tür der Duschkabine öffnen wollte, da es etwas klein war. Die Dusche selber war jedoch sauber und hatte eine angenehme größe. Das Personal sowohl an der Rezeption als auch beim Frühstücksbuffe war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten vergessen anzugeben, dass meine Schwester Vegan ist und sie hatte dadurch wenig auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal war aber so freundlich und flexibel und hat ihr ein paar vegane möglichkeiten organisiert. Das fanden wir sehr sehr nett. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Besuch in der Therme war ebenfalls im Hotelpreis mit inbegriffen und konnte über einen "Bademantelgang" erreicht werden. Die Therme selber ist nicht die modernste, dadurch war sie aber trotz der heißen Temperaturen nicht so voll und wir konnten uns gut entspannen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in bester Lage mit der Altstadt zu Fuß bestens erreichbar. Die Ausstattung ist nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß und die Einrichtung etwas verwohnt, aber absolut brauchbar. Ich kann das Hotel allerdings zumindest im Sommer leider nicht weiter empfehlen, da wir kaum ein Auge zugekriegt haben. Es ist extrem warm auf den Zimmern, dabei gibt es weder Klimaanlage noch Ventilatoren. Erst in den Morgenstunden brachten die offenen Fenster etwas kühle Luft ins Zimmer. Zugleich war es mit geöffnetem Fenster aber sehr laut, da im selben Hotel u.a. eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft bis 2 Uhr Nachts zugange war und früh morgens am nahe gelegenen Liefereingang der Hotelküche ein lebhaftes Treiben herrschte.
