Nice stay at Strahan.
Very good. Comfortable, spacious. Strahan is not big so we were able to walk to the wharf for our cruise. Expensive but not over the top and, well, it was school holiday and we were late booking.

A comfortable place to stay
We travelled around Tasmania on a 2 week trip and were very happy to stay in these delightful cabins. Everything you could want is in them. They are very close to the local supermarket and it is only a short walk to the main street of Strahan. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

The property was centrally located with a short walk down to the Gordon River cruise terminal. Nice, clean and cosy. Would stay there again

With garage but no washing machine. It would be better if there is a heater.

Washing machine is located in guest laundry. Not sure why you couldn't see the heater......all our villas have them as a standard fitting. Some have heat pumps and others are located on the wall

Great position, great size. Good size bathroom. Toilet “clacked” whenever you walked in bathroom and whenever it was used. Annoying. Heating needs an upgrade, thermostat just kept turning, 3 hr timer never shut off. Light globes blown in lounge, one out of 3 worked. Little fiddly annoying things.

Having stayed here 2 years ago we requested the same villa again as this suited our needs.The location was great only a short distance to the center of town. The kitchen had all the basic requirements for cooking a simply meal. Car was under cover and very handy if it rained.

Another reviewer put it perfectly: "A well-appointed unit with all the equipment for self-catering, older style decor, clean and warm". Clean, efficient, older. No complaints at all, we had a good night's rest here, and I would stay here again without hesitation. But compared to other places we stayed at on Tassie, it was just average.

The hosts are lovely, very friendly and extremely welcoming. The property is really run down. One of our bed actually broke though the host were apologetic about it. The place is simple, well kept but quite old.

Unfortunately I think you have mistakenly confused our property with another. We have never had a guest report a broken bed and our property is not run down.

Staff were helpful, communicating quickly despite the fact that connectivity was scarce in the region. Salt & pepper was absent from the kitchen. Second toilet was appreciated.

Enjoyable overnight stay
Under new ownership. Very polite and helpful. Arrived at 10.30pm. Lights on and key in door. The owner came out to help us find our cabin as it was a dark night. Good large bed, full kitchen facilities, lots of room in the bathroom. Lighting over the mirror for shaving could be improved. Breakfast is limited, fresh ham, eggs, cheese and milk in the fridge. If you prefer something else bring your own. We would return if passing through this area again.
