"We had a great experience. We opted for some balloons as a surprise for a birthday, which we’re waiting in one of the rooms upon check-in.
Our check-in experience was personalised, with staff referencing what we’d done during the day, as it was noted on the pre check-in competed online, as we were arriving late.
Nice to have a city hotel with a pool, sauna and steam room, which made for a nice start to the following day.
Breakfast was great, with hot food made to order, along with honey from the hives on the roof of the hotel - a great touch. "

"Staff were friendly throughout. Hotel was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The spa was fabulous and a welcome addition after a day of walking in Winchester. This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things! "The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was perfectly appointed with everything I needed. All the appliances were easy to use and added to the experience of my stay.
There was plenty of hot and cold options for breakfast from yogurts, cereal, fruit, cheese, ham to scrambled eggs, baked beans, hash browns, bacon, sausages and even waffles and croissants. The breakfast area was light and bright and food options were regularly replenished.
I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Food great and great value - inc Breakfast and Dinner. But would have liked some lighter option alternatives - fruit or sea bass or salmon or omelette salad - due to advanced age!! Sorry! I had dined at Mr. White’s new Balham Restaurant back in the day! Room and Shower Room lovely and spacious. Parking easy. Bed and sleep good. Might have appreciated a bit of help with case given age! Staff really friendly and helpful. Decor and collection display of artifacts amazing and just my style!! Grounds might be a bit too trendily dishevelled but it appealed to me. Location brilliant for Bath, Cotswolds, innumerable “NT and other properties and visiting old friends still living in Cotswolds. Maybe a bit more info and recommendations on special and not so well known places to visit? "

Chilworth Manor has lovely grounds and a conservation are which is worth exploring and has swimming and other facilities."
"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."
