"A really lovely place to stay even in the depths of winter! Quiet location with a pub a few minutes walk away. Great place to bring your dog. The individual themed rooms with en suites have been really well thought out. Our room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and modern shower room. We had a super delicious breakfast. There was loads of choice. Our host was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. "

Knocked 1 star off service not because there was anything wrong but just seems odd to say it was excellent when my only interaction consisted if being issued with a key. "If you’re looking for a lovely spot in the heart of the New Forest, this is definitely one to try. Although it’s located on the A36, once you’re inside the property the road noise disappears completely. We stayed in the Nomansland Suite, which was perfect for our four-day stay. It included a comfortable double bed, bathroom, fridge, and kettle, and the room was cleaned daily. The host who greeted us was very friendly and suggested lots of great things to do nearby, which was really helpful. There’s plenty to do in the area, whether it’s a walk to the local pub or a short trip to the beach. The views are beautiful and really add to the experience. Highly recommend this place for a short getaway."
