"SUPER lovely and stylish home with great design and great location. Wonderful living room for everyone to hang out and chat. Lovely touches, very attentive housekeeper. Sorry to say one issue was annex 4th room was not the same high quality as the rest of the house: Cramped and water issues (beyond those described in advance by the owner). Suggest only booking main house - truly wonderful there! "

"We had a wonderful 4 days at Iris Cottage. Set in beautiful countryside, the accommodation was lovely and the facilities on site were perfect for our group. Swings and play room for youngest to tennis, snooker and golf for older ones. The swimming pool was used by all of us. Would definitely recommend for all ages. We are looking forward to visiting again"

"The property was set near to the harbour and close to road and car parks (also Rock Fish). Very enjoyable stay, and Brixham is a nicely chilled resort. Weather a bit changeable and more like late Spring than early Summer. Only downside was the conflicting stories of whether the tap water in the area had been flushed out of its germ which was giving people in the locality s & d, and whether the harbour area was 'clear'. "dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down...

"Cottage was a very good base for exploring places in Dartmouth. Clean and tidy cottage. Cottage itself had everything we needed. However the cottage could've done with a bit of a make over. Pictures on walls. End of bath. Bedlinen . Bed was comfortable. There was a little hole in the window in the bathroom. Also when you got in the shower you overlooked a public footpath. Overall we enjoyed our stay"

"We had several properties including the one next door to you, and I have to say I liked yours the best as it accommodated the 4 of us perfectly and we had some room to all sit together as there were a total of 12 of us and 3 children but pent of room to sit and talk and get together with all. "Accommodation perfect for us as was its situation that allowed us to visit all the towns around Devon that we had planned. Communication good and would definitely stay again as we would like to visit the area possibly for a longer period next time ."

"Loved our short break in this superb location, the cottage had everything you need and the privacy and quietness of the area was amazing. Yes the lanes are truly country - tight, muddy and bumpy but nothing unusual or to put you off. A good location for visiting all the well known towns & coasts and then retreating to the quietness of the cottage. Thoroughly recommend."
