Room was small but clean. Bathroom was a decent size for such a small room. The only issue was that the cleaner kept coming into the room when we were still there but after we explained that we had until Noon to check out she never came back to bother us.
This stay was everything I hoped for, a cosy spot for singles and couples just to lay back and relax. Lives up to its name because its deceivingly comfortable, perhaps the lack of windows helps you to lose track of time too! Eitherways, very enjoyable stay and happy sleep, thank you
The app did not work for me but once in contact, someone showed up to hand me the physical key. Good location and amenities. Room was very quiet for me to get good rest.
Check in was relatively easy. The hotel key app on my phone did not work so I was issued a physical room key. Room was compact but very comfortable and clean. Very central location and close to Tunnelbana and Central Station.

Best so far of the no-windows basement room hotels
Best so far of the no-windows basement room hotels I have stayed at.
The only negative thing was that there was only 3 channels on the television.
Small, and not ideal if you’ve got a lot of wardrobe you need to unpack, but the location is superb, the rooms are super clean, fresh and comfortable, with a nice queen size bed in the single room, a TV you can connect to via Bluetooth and stream Netflix etc from your own devices, and a super fresh bathroom - with great water pressure.
(Traveling as much as I do, good water pressure in the hotel showers become one of those things you really appreciate haha…)
Yes - it would be nice with some amenities like a coffee maker or a small fridge, maybe one or two drawers, but for the price you pay, it’s more than enough, and there are an abundance of places to go get everything you might, right on your doorstep, so you’re never in any dire need.
The “no windows situation” might feel odd to some, but it’s actually really nice to sleep in pitch black, and the bathroom has got a night light if you need to get up during the night, so you won’t stumble around in the dark for very long.
Wholeheartedly recommend, and will stay here many more times in the future I’m sure!

Poor self check in, could not do it after following all the procedures sent by txt, the key did not work either, helped by a very friendly apologetic man on duty, he sorted all the check in issues for us, he gave us a discount voucher for a local place to eat as an apology, room very small , but bed comfy and slept well,
Would not stay again as i now know i like a hotel to check me in and not do it myself!
This was my fourth time staying at this hotel. It is incredibly convenient for my work in the centre of Stockholm, and once checked-in there is nothing really to comment on, everything works as expected; the water was hot in the hot tap, cold in the cold tap, good pressure from the shower. Wifi stays connected. The quirky decoration is quite fun the first time, but by the fourth you notice that the random bowler hat hanging from the ceiling is really rather dusty...
About the check-in though - as I said, I have stayed here four times now, and the app that is supposed to contain your key and allow for a seamless check-in has never worked on any of these visits. I can't fault the staff who have always appeared within a couple of minutes to by-pass the system and let me in and provide a physical keycard instead of the digital thing in the app, but the impression remains that the technology doesn't work and that maybe running a hotel without people isn't such a brilliant concept anyway. Also, when you are inevitably locked out and floundering on Kungsgatan, there is a number to call in the app, but there is no option to click that number or even copy the text to paste onto the keypad on your mobile. Infuriating to have to go back and forth between the dial pad and the app to make a phone call that you didn't want to have to make in the first place.
The hotel is centrally located within 2-5 mins walk from 2 metro stations on different lines.
A lovely gentleman was in the lobby when I arrived and checked me in within seconds. The App key was easy to use.
The (basement)room is of a minimalist design, and was very cozy and comfortable. The shower room was nice and had good water pressure. I thought the lack of a window would feel suffocating, but not at all. I slept deeper without light seeping through in the morning. Connecting to the internet and casting on the TV was simple.
Other guests in the hallway could be heard quite easily. I was woken up by this and also the lovely cleaner vacuuming, which she cannot help. The doors certainly require soundproofing. The main issue was there was no plug socket other than the one behind the bed. With an adapter in place, I could not fit my devices in there for use. There wasn't even a shaver plug socket in the bathroom for my toothbrush. I had to stand by the front door to blowdry my hair with the provided hair dryer, but could not straighten my hair. It is a major inconvenience and needs to be addressed asap. I did mention this to a lovely lady who was assisting new guests in the lobby one afternoon. I received coupons for breakfast at their sister hotel as an apology for the inconvenience.
Bar the plug socket issue and soundproofing, I enjoyed my stay and will return. Hopefully by then the issues will have been resolved, therefore making for a much more pleasant stay.
The idea of creating a hotel without reception is a nice idea, but in this case it was not done properly. Check in was supposed to be via the app, which then didnt work. At the check in time someone arrived and open the door manually for us and said, that the app is not working / in use currently. This was no were written before.

Suffocating
The rooms are located in a basement, with no ventilation or air-conditioning. You sleep terribly, and get up several times a night. Other then that, its cheap, and centrally located.
Great stay, only inconvenience was that the app didn’t work so I couldn’t get in via the keyless entry. Had to find the number, call their sister hotel and walk a 2km round trip to get a hotel room key. Hotel was nice about the issue and offered me a coffee and water.

The privacy of the bathroom is zero, the room would be excellent if it didn't have that transparent door
