Location, Excellent staff.

This stay took place at Hotel Birger Jarl as Tegnerlunden was closed. The staff were excellent and the stay very comfortable. Spacious room, quiet and clean. Good breakfast, nice bar and lobby. Marvellous treat for breakfast on Lucia, Dec 13 as a small choir sang for us. An employee made that possible. A big plus for that. Great location with closeness to the subway, quiet. Good dining, coffee shops, bars, shopping nearby.

Non-visit d/t move to other hotel turns out great

While we did not get to stay at Hotel Tegnerlunden we were "upgraded" (can't say whether this word is an accurate description or not as I do not know what Tegnerlunden is like) to Hotel Birger Jarl, and a suite at that, so my overall impression was very good. The room was clean and the beds super comfy, we also had a small living room which made the stay so much more pleasant. Very friendly staff, and the breakfast was great.

We reserved the hotel, but the hotel was closed. We didn't have any relocation info untill we arrived the closed hotel at night time. The relocation hotel was far from the place we reserved. We needed to walk outside with kids late night. The relocaton hotel receptionist was nice.

Blev ombokad till systerhotellet Birger Jarl eftersom Tegnérlunden var stängt pga pandemin. Rummet var rent och trevligt men med störande fläktljud utifrån. Jag kan också tycka att buffé-frukost är olämpligt så den hoppade jag över.

Kan inte svara på en enda fråga eftersom hotellet var stängt och kag fick bo på Birger Jarl, som var alldeles utmärkt givetvis. Särskilt servicen och rummens rymlighet.

Einfach aber okay

Das Hotel gleicht eher einem Hostel. Das Zimmer war sauber, aber sehr hellhörig und, trotz Upgrade, winzig, ebenso die Dusche. Das Frühstück war okay. Der Tiefgaragenstellplatz kostete 30 Euro pro Tag, dafür konnte man aber auch von dort mit dem Lift direkt in die Zimmeretage fahren. Der Empfang war freundlich, aber wenig hilfreich. Fragen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und nach guten Restaurants konnten nicht beantwortet werden. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und schön hinter einem kleinen Park. Es ist sehr gut an den ÖPNV angeschlossen, und man erreicht die Altstadt und das Schloß in ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Eine ordentliche Bleibe mit sehr guten Betten für den wenig anspruchsvollen Reisenden zu einem annehmbaren Preis.
