"Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. All the staff members were friendly and helpful! Breakfast was just okay but we appreciated the complimentary food! The restaurant at the hotel was nice with lovely views of the river and lake! The hotel is also conveniently located in the downtown area."

"Beautiful location with a huge open concept house that’s big enough for a large family that comes on vacation to visit all the local sights near Lake Ontario! The house is clean, privately located, quiet, comfortable and fully stocked. Abby is quick to respond, helpful, shares helpful tips and very friendly to work with! We are looking forward to visiting The Eagle’s Nest in the near future! Thank you for everything, The Beneat family!"

"Our group has stayed at Jen’s property 4 times over the past several years while on our annual fishing trip. The property is perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The sunsets over the water are absolutely stunning. Safe to say we will be booking again in the future."

"So I loved the staff and will be staying there again. Having a hot tub on site was SO NICE. However. The pool room was honestly a little gross. The pool wasnt very clear, there were lump of peoples hair on the floor all over the place, and the layer of scum I could feel on my body after being in the pool and spa was more notable than I've experience before. I immediately showered and scrubbed the heck out of my feet in fear of athletes foot, and I absolutely recommend you do the same. The food was so good, the rooms were very nice, and the staff was so helpful. It just loses a whole star because of the cleanliness of the pool room. Will I be staying again? Absolutely. Will I use the pool and spa? Yes, yes I will. I just wish it was a bit cleaner and then it'd be my favorite stay in Upstate."

"Right off I-90 so it was very convenient for solo traveler wet a pet companion. The breakfast was available and the waffles were a hit! Property was older, but rooms seemed clean and somewhat updated. I have stayed here every summer for the past several years and this is the best the hotel has looked both inside and outside."
Stone Beach Access | Cabin with a Fire Pit Glow

"My family (7 adults and 1 toddler) had a really nice time (late July). The cabin and grounds are beautiful and clean. We've stayed at multiple vacation homes prior; this one truly provided what was needed for an enjoyable stay. We grilled cheeseburgers and hotdogs on the gas grill, toasted smores over the firepit, and cooked breakfasts in a well-stocked kitchen that even had toddler-friendly plates/utensils/booster seat.The stone beach is very close by and my family enjoyed fishing (one perch showed slight interest), sat next to the breaking 6 inch waves and picked up stones for hours (toddler entertainment), walked down a nearby dirt road and photographed a pair of swans swimming by, and witnessed some spectacular sunsets. The hosts are very communicative and graciously offered assistance if we ran into a problem multiple times during our stay.The following are helpful to know & are definitely NOT deal-breakers:We didn't have our regular cell phone service (except for emergency calls) during our stay (Mint mobile). We used the cabin's wi-fi to contact the outside world.Bring water shoes for walking to & on the stone beach (We ended up driving 20 minutes to the Oswego Walmart to buy some). Duh...We enjoyed the place so much that except for the Walmart trip and one pizza excursion we pretty much stayed put and enjoyed out time together. We left refreshed and rested. None of us needs a rest after our getaway."

"A great lake house experience on Little Sodus Bay. We enjoyed cooking in a very well-equipped kitchen. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. The view from the hot tub of the Lake Ontario shoreline is also fantastic. Highly recommended."
