"The property is as listed on the site. However the parking details are vague to say the least. We ended up parking in what I’m sure was the wrong car park but we weren’t given tickets or reprimanded by anyone. The major downside was the fact there was no hot water other than the electric showers. I mean NO hot water. The site were told at the 1st opportunity and their response was to turn on all circuit breakers. A. as an electrician myself you shouldn’t really be advising someone who as far as you know isn’t a qualified person to turn on anything that has possibly tripped. B. There is no water coming out of the taps would tell you it could also be a plumbing issue. They didn’t send anyone out for the 3 days we stayed there. So we didn’t have any hot water for the whole stay. When I complained they were not interested and offered no kind of compensation or even an explanation. "

"The corridors, room and swimming pool / sauna areas were terrible. No warnings that the property was undergoing refurbishment. Guest services were rude invading personal space. Communication was poor. Sauna switched off and wasn't advised it takes 15 minutes to heat up."

"Staff very helpful. The hotel has limited parking spaces. There are electric car chargers, but can be taken up by none ev cars due to limited parking. Large Tesco next door with ev charging. Room was clean, on the verge of becoming shabby. "

"Really impressed with this Hotel. Definetely would not hesitate to stay again. From when we first arrived the staff were very helpful and went over and beyond to offer great customer service. If only all hotels were like this hotel. Definetely deserve to win a Tourism Awards for this area. As for the room, the word 'Wow' comes to mind! We heard no noise at all despite there being a wedding function on. "

"I stayed at Newton House Hotel for 2 nights with the partner whilst she recovered from a procedure. In short, it's great & I'd definitely come back. The location is great, quiet, a short walk from the seafront & right on the road in/off the Island. Parking is free & plentiful & the grounds are lovely, with gardens & lots of nice spots. The room was nice, clean & comfortable with a good bathroom. The service was great but the highlight is the bar & restaurant. Breakfast is included free & is restaurant quality, the best I've come across. The main restaurant menu is very good, homemade & delicious. We ate in both nights & really enjoyed it. Five stars throughout, I can't recommend it highly enough."

"What a fantastic stay we had. Brilliant place, with great amenities. The rooms were all really well decorated and furnished; the kitchen was fully stocked with herbs, spices, condiments, tea, coffee etc which was an absolute bonus and the honesty bar was great. One of the best bits was the cinema snug - we spent hours in there. We'll definitely go again and friends want to go also. Thanks so much for a brilliant time. "
