It was a spacious property and the calm was calm and inkeeping with the property; some lovely art work.The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for 8 people. The property was ideal for taking a dog as had a good outside space.We appreciated the cake, home-cooked bread and milk on arrive - this was a lovely touch! "

"Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. "
