"Very enjoyable stay at The Cheshire Cheese Inn, staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the evening meal and the food quality was excellent and the service great. Nothing was too much trouble and the team chatted to us throughout the evening. Breakfast the following morning was top notch (my particular favourites being the sausage and bacon). "I recently stayed at Hathersage, Hope Valley, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The accommodation is beautifully and have spacious rooms that blend historic charm with modern comfort. All rooms were spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the rainfall shower was a real treat after long walks. Fully equipped kitchen with some nice welcoming treats.The location is ideal—just in the middle of the Hope Valley and plenty of other hiking routes. There are couple of nice dining places in 5 min walk. This is the best place to stay if you want to cover Mam Tor or Blue John Cavern. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Peak District for walking, photography, or just a relaxing countryside break."
