"Very comfortable room. The first night a little warm but after turning the heating down better the 2nd. Very good water pressure in the shower and good toiletries (white company) Ate both nights of our stay and the food was very good. Staff where very good through out the hotel but it was a little frustrating when our dessert arrived without any cutlery and it took 5 mins before they noticed. Good location for Chatsworth and other local attractions. Would stay here again."

I was shown a room I could use and provided with coffee and refreshments to keep me going Great, clean and comfortable room, and our evening meal and breakfast was top notch! "The flat was really clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen, including a washer/dryer. Heating and hot water was very efficient (and much appreciated after a windy day on the hills). Very easy to visit by train. The little shop is less than 5 minutes away and is well stocked and the bakery does lovely pastries and a range of other things. Hourly trains into Sheffield make it a good spot to visit both the city and the Peaks. The area is beautiful and it's great being able to walk from the door. We did a lovely 6 mile Stanage Edge circular walk that we'll definitely do again. All communications with Andrea were timely and very smooth. Highly recommend; we plan to return. "

"Excellent bed an breakfast in the Peak District run by friendly hosts. The room was impeccably clean and of a good size, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and recently renovated. It is above the pub, which we also liked because it was possible to get dinner there - good 'pub grub' fayre. They also serve an excellent traditional English breakfast. Very happy to recommend this property to others."
