"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing, we wanted to stay longer! The food is delicious (some of our best meals were at hotel), service is excellent, beach is wonderful. They are beyond accommodating regarding food restrictions and allergies and make modifications AND remember your restrictions. Staff will serve food and drinks at beach. We had a delicious welcome cake at arrival. The ONLY thing was the plunge pool the room has is not heated. I hope to come back!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Had a very good superior room, with balcony, on the top floor (4th) facing the old town with the sea in the distance. The room was fairly basic, but clean, with a good bed and bathroom. The swimming pool area was better than in the photos , and pleasant enough to spend time lounging around. The inclusive breakfast was very good, with a wide range of hot and cold options to choose from. The bus station is 20 minutes away, and offers good routes to other towns and beaches. I would definitely stay again."

Only downside was that the aircon had been switched off all over the hotel so had to keep windows open which meant there was a lot of noise from the street. Two of the rooms had sinks outside the bathroom"

"This was our second visit to Atlantica Amalthia. Very nice hotel. Everywhere was very clean, our room was a good size (we had a room in the building on the beach side) with nice balcony. Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast room was nice and good choice of food. Very well kept beach. All of the staff were first class. So friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Visited the spa and had two massages during my stay and both were very nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Reasonable price. Didn't use the pool as it got busy very quickly. Sunbeds were very close together and not positioned well that you could get the sun all day. Whilst I enjoy swimming in a pool, we chose to stay on the beach each day. Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommend Sebastien next door. Absolute gem of a hotel and would definitely recommend it."

Well-maintained modern hotel and the owner helped me what I needed very quickly. I truly appreciate that. it was an off-season and quiet around, but still able to find cafes and bakeries when I drove 5 min to the town.The tavern in front of the hotel offered big cretan meals which made me very happy as well. "
