Quirky beach house with an ideal location

We loved the location of this place. The house setup is kinda strange and wouldn't have a lot of privacy for multiple families, but it worked great for our girls' weekend.

Serenity was the appropriate name!!

Loved it! We will be back! View of the Gulf was breathtaking. There was a full moon glistening on the water, stunning.

Wonderful house and location!

GREAT HOUSE!

Great House! Clean and well maintained. More space than I expected or needed. It was great. We appreciated all the beach items including chairs, toys, and boogie boards. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time. The place was wonderful

We had a great time. The place was wonderful. The beach is beautiful and we even found a huge starfish. The shade around the pool was great for an afternoon break from the sun. My daughters said we should stay for 2 weeks! Treasure island is beautiful and is convenient to go to the Aquarium, Zoo and easy boat rentals. The house has all you need from the kitchen to beach towels and chairs. Suzann is great to work with and very responsive. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us. We plan a return visit. Great beach spot

The location is phenomenal! The house is very well equipped & clean. It is not a fancy house, but for a beach place it was perfect. The biggest negative point is all the stairs and lack of adequate hand rails. We had toddlers in our party & it was difficult to carry/help them negotiate the stairs. For older children & teens, it would not be such an issue. It was great having the pool to use after the salt water. We would love to stay there again when ours toddlers are older.

1st family vacation

My husband, and myself life a stressful business first life here in Ohio. This was the first vacation we have taken since we were both young. Now I can not imagine a year without at least one. The property was immaculate, and can not be described in words. The location was ideal and could not have been better maintained. I would highly recommend this property to all familys. We hope to experience the same vacation in the new year, and hope others choose wisely as well.

Beach House Heaven

This is a beautiful home that you can tell the owners love. Very nicely decorated. You will love the table in the family room. Great view of the beach. Great for families. We could watch the kids from the porch. If they were at the beach and needed anything, they could go to the house. Also, the Media Room is awesome for the kids The beds are very comfortable, unusual for a rental. There is a Beach Bar 1/2 mile away that you can walk to that has outside seating (Caddy's) OK service. The area of the beach is very quiet and peaceful.Very clean and updated. My family will definatly return.

Proximity to the beach is fabulous

We felt like the property itself was a little off from the pictures. It is small and a bit awkward layout. The only beach chairs (that were supposed to be in the garage to carry to the beach)were damaged and unusable so we had to buy our own. The pool was very sandy and used a lot by the other family in the duplex so we didn't use it much. The Very very best part was the view and easy access to the beach. It is literally right out the door and we absolutely loved that and the views. The sunsets were amazing!!

Beautiful house on a great beach!

My family of four along with my parents stayed for 10 days. Although the weather wasn't great we still had a good time! The house is located on the beach which was my number one priority when it came to picking a home. This beach was great! My 4 & 6 year olds loved it. Shells galore and sand to dig and play in. We enjoyed walks on the beach and were lucky enough to be there during a sand sculpture event that was taking place. My husband and dad found a golf course just 20 minutes away and played almost everyday. We also enjoyed the Parasailing and a fishing trip that went out of John's Pass Village. There wasn't much in the way of walking distance but we had a car and took some drives up the coast. We hope to visit again someday when we can count on the weather being nice and warm! Suzann was wonderful to work with and the house was immaculate!

Serenity By The Sea - townhome on the beach in Treaure Island

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our overall stay was very nice!We loved that the house was right on the beach. Wonderful Gulf views. It was also a convenient location for groceries and other supplies, as well as to restaurants. The house was cheerful, clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. However, the beach chairs were in very poor shape. We would have used the pool (more) had it been heated and better cleaned. I did call the property management company when we first arrived but never got a response. Several lamps were not working. The bulbs had died and there were no replacements. I talked to the pool cleaner who showed up a day before we left. He had not been there prior to our visit so the pool needed cleaning, I found it easy to make the reservation online and the check-in process was seemless. It was a great vacation overall and we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful Beach View However...

The beautiful view from the townhouse and the beach were the highlight of this property. We rented for a week during spring break. We did not feel this property was worth the high rent we paid. The exterior of the town home was pretty dated, worn. The pool was not heated so we were never able to use it. The open wooden stairs from the main floor to the second floor proved to be very dangerous for our 15 month old grandson. There are no TVs in the bedrooms and the largest tv was on the third level in a small sitting room. You don't vacation on the beach to watch tv but rain and chilly weather leave little choice. The loft style bedrooms offer no privacy and the master bedroom has no closet or onsuite. The bathroom was not far, but it took real manpower to turn the shower lever. We appreciated the laundry area on the second floor. We had a good time regardless, but definitely felt disappointment in this property.

Million dollar view

We enjoyed our weeks stay. We would welcome staying again because of the location and the view.. The unit itself was outdated.. needs new king mattress and pillows and window blinds, among other things. The outdoor deck railings need replacing. Upon arriving, found a dead rat in the middle of the garage. In the kitchen, a live palmetto bug and tiny ants.

The house is rundown

The location of this house is great. Other than that I would not recommend staying here. When we checked in we found something smeared on the wall and on the comforter in one of the bedrooms. Neither of the bathrooms were cleaned it had garbage and clumps of hair on the wall and in the drains. We did get ahold of the rental agency and they had people come out to clean those things. The house needs to have a lot of updates done to it because it is run down. Both showers have black mold growing in the grout. We also found black mold in the vent in the bedroom with the queen size bed. We also found a cockroach in the kitchen. I do have a picture of the cockroach and wish this allowed for me to upload pictures because I would upload it so everyone knew we weren't lying. We told the cleaning staff of our discovery and they told us that it's just something you have to do with when you're in Florida. I've been travelling to Florida my entire life and I have never had a space had bugs in them.

Perfect Beach Getaway

The location of this property is amazing, you’re right on the beach. You’re able to sit in the shaded porch and see the kids playing in the sand and the ocean. Overall it was a good experience but as other reviews stated, I’m not sure if we would stay here again. The problem is you don’t know what you’ll get with the townhome next to the property which you have to share the pool with. Unfortunately the people that rented the other property checked in the same day we did and they were drinking a lot and had their music loud and were in the pool area and inside the pool drinking (3 men and 1 woman) we had 3 girls and a little boy and didn’t feel comfortable letting them get in the pool while the neighbors were outside, so we couldn’t use the pool but enjoyed the beach a lot. The layout is a little odd and there is not much privacy if you have 2 families sharing the place, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The beds were super comfortable and the furniture around the property was nice. I wouldn’t count sleeping on the sofa bed, because it’s old and very uncomfortable. But we did have a great time and we walked to Caddy’s, a restaurant on the beach, so that was fun too.

Treasure Island Stay

Overall our stay was great due to location of the property but there were plenty of problems. Property Manager doe not seem to be familiar with the property. I asked about beach chairs/towels before heading to the beach and was told they were not provided. As a result I packed chairs and towels only to find they were on site. Very irritating considering chairs take a lot of room in a car. The hide a bed is basically unusable as when deployed it blocks access to a bathroom. When you plan for eight places to sleep and find out two of those spaces are not available it is very annoying. Pool requires daily maintenance to be useable. Maintenance is handled by the renters not the property manager. BBQ grill was a safety hazard. It was missing a couple of bolts so that it was very dangerous to move. It was replaced with a new grill the day we departed but that did not help me. Shower in master bath had to be repaired (by me) to be useable.

Beachbum's Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second visit to this location! The best part is this townhouse is just steps to the beach. You can sit on back porch and enjoy the beach breeze! Also, I could watch my grandchildren when they were in the pool and still enjoy the beach breezes and views! The views from the house were amazing. The house is very comfortable and spacious! A couple of negative comments are: Because of public beach access near the house, people would set up umbrellas and tents directly in front of the house. The beach was much busier this year. Also when sharing the townhouse with another family, you aren't sure what these people will be like. Two family members who were staying in the attached townhouse became intoxicated and was throwing up beside the pool and on the beach. Their younger children were in the pool as well as my young grandchildren. These people left the first of the week and the next family that came in were fine. It is just a chance you have to take. Overall this is one of the best places for a beach vacation!
