"Everything you could want from the breakfast buffet"

"Relatively clean, bed reasonably comfortable. Staff was friendly. If that’s all you’re after and want to save $30-40 a night, then maybe it’s worth it. But property is in bad condition. 2 Elevator, but only 1 wiring and it barely worked. Only one bed in room. Very outdated everything. And it is VERY LOUD! It’s right next to Highway and the windows are very poor quality - do nothing for sound. We regretted not paying a little bit more for a nicer place. "

"Rather than being 100% negative-I will offer suggestions that would have helped improve the experience. Have a garage entrance near the hotel. It was about 2 blocks away with no signage that indicated this was the correct garage. The instructions indicated the garage was across from the Sheraton, but the hotel it is across from is no longer a Sheraton (it took my 3 tries to find the garage). When you get in the garage there wasn't any signage to tell you where to park for the hotel. When you finally get there-put some carts in the hallway to help folks with luggage. The walk to the correct elevator is long and juggling luggage was difficult. Rethink the look of the reception desk. Huge plastic shields with a security guard standing in front do not give any confidence that this is a safe hotel. The front desk is plastered with signs in neon colors telling what you can and can not do. Including one that said "no shoes, no shirt, no service" It doesn't make you think that this is a nice place. Rethink the cheap, uncomfortable and ugly flooring in the rooms. The baseboards were broken and dirty. The towels and bedding were really thin and low quality. Maybe an upgrade there? The pillows had plastic tags clipped inside (!)-I guess so you wouldn't steal them. I cut my ear sleeping on the darn things. Close the doors to the cleaning closets-they are junky and look terrible. I have stayed at the hotel for years and it must be under new management-never again."

"Great location- quick drive to anything you’ll want to do in St. Louis. Starbucks is a block away and many other food places, gas station, and convenience store super close. Host is very responsive! "

"Staff were rude. Breakfast was ok . Sausages and pastries were high quality. Have stayed here before and wanted to stay again with family. Won’t be coming back. Not worth the money."

"The property was advertised as having a fenced yard. It was not fully fenced.This was one of the main reasons why I chose this property,so I could relax and not have to take my dogs out on leashes. It also showed a big deep,clawfoot bathtub,another reason I chose this property.The faucets did not work to fill it. After a windy day,bare electrical wire was hanging off the side of the house from the roof. It looked like a bag of wiring was left on the roof! The bedding in the Master bdrm had dark hair all over the fitted sheet. Not mine. Im a blonde. Basement door had no way to secure it shut,nor did the attic door.We opened the attic door thinking it was a closet. The ceiling was falling down over the stairs and there was loose insulation everywhere.There was a Home Depot bucket of spackling left near the front door.The stove,which was gas,would ignite a burner,but the rest of the burners continued to click and throw sparks. The kitchen began to smell like gas and we were afraid to use it.We notified them each time something was wrong and they said thanks for telling them.Then the last day they offered another night for 40% off. I said it should be free based on the fact the house was not ready to rent and they falsely advertised a fenced yard and a tub with no water. They never responded to this. Ive used Vrbo several times and have always been pleased.NOT THIS TIME!! I have photos of some of these things if you want to see them.This house is definitely not safe for families."
