"Great location and restaurant "

"We were upgraded to a very nice suite and did that make a difference for the whole trip. Quiet, clean rooms, comfortable, showers with abundant hot water, personable staff at all times, and there was a very nice elegance about the hotel. The thermostat worked so we were comfortable with cold weather outside. It was convenient having restaurants on premises and nice to be given courtesy discounts. The location nearer the St. Louis Museum of Art was a plus. This was our first foray using a hotel over Airbnbs, and we made a good decision. We would rebook if the prices stay steady. "

"The staff was great, the check-in quick,the breakfast had fresh fruit and a chef making omelets, and the room was updated, clean, spacious, and quiet. Couldn't ask for anything more!"

"Nice, quiet neighborhood, pool table, plenty of bedrooms, 5 mins walk to train or Washu. Only small complaints:Water pressure wasnt greatNo separate trash can for recycling. Overall, it was perfect for our large group. Highly recommended. "

"It’s an older house, so you are dealing with creaky floors and such, which is ok. The floors were really dirty/sticky so we had to clean. There were also virtually no pots/pans that weren’t old/rusted/flaking. The owner was apologetic, reimbursed us for our time cleaning and pots/pans we had to buy. It needs a better selection of cooking things, so hopefully that gets adddress so families can stay there. "
