"We enjoyed our stay at Bannatyne spa hotel. The executive double room was spacious and relaxing with a queen sized bed. The spa/leasure facilitates were very good. Just a shame we had to pay extra for that. "
"Staff were excellent in all areas. Great dinner in the evening, but unfortunately breakfast was poor as food had not been freshly cooked as was only warm. "
"The Laindons B&B offers an amazing experience. The room was very spacious and comfortable and our hosts had thought of everything a guest could possibly need and more. The included breakfast was wonderful home cooking and the owners are incredible, being engaging and extremely considerate. I will absolutely return to Hastings and when I do will only consider staying at the Laindons. I cannot imagine finding better."
"Lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom. The staff were so very friendly and efficient. Really exceptional breakfast. Great great great. We will be returning for sure."
"The Apollo was a 2 minute walk from train station and buses. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room (5) was clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of Tea, coffee and milk in room. Also a lovely touch was the biscuits, cartons of juices and bottled water. I would recommend the Apollo."

"Fantastic stay. Everyone there was friendly, accommodating, and had great suggestions for things to do around town and great places for dinner. Couldn't of had a better time. Will highly recommend to anyone coming to Hastings. "
"The bathroom had an extractor fan that was broken, black mould around the shower tray, the shower tray is unsafe, being very slippery when wet. The bathroom mirror was fitted withe incandescent lighting which gives off heat.
Entrance to the bedroom was through French double glazed doors, the stay holding the door was disconnected. A strong gust of wind could cause injury to someone. The room had cobwebs and the curtains were dirty. The TV was not properly installed, resulting in loss of programs. The bedroom furniture was well used with a staple for some reason half inserted. The bed mattress was flimsy and unsupportive. The doors opened onto a poorly maintained patio area, which was also a smoking area. The result was the during the current heatwave we could not open doors as there were smokers satisfying their addiction. This is despite stickers all over the property stating that there is no smoking on these premises. Premises includes garden and patio by definition.
Entrance to the room was through the main building, which included the occupants area. Where their washing was on clothes airier.
The so called garden view was obscured by a bush. The grounds need attention and the preparation of a bonfire in the middle of rear garden is hardly appealing.
The dining room had a chandelier with a lot of the bulbs missing. A continental breakfast with cornflakes? The crockery was mismatched.
The side entrance is unsecured, anyone can just walk in. Photos are availabl

"Wasn’t sure when we arrived as outside of caravan could have done with a jet wash. Inside though was lovely we couldn’t fault it at all. Some reviews have mentioned the garden not being secure but we had no problems at all. The park itself is very very hilly but beautifully kept. The club house was very clean and all the staff we met were very friendly. One small niggle - we didn’t realise it had limited Wi-Fi and would have been happy to pay a charge for extra Wi-Fi. Overall a lovely time was had. "
"Turned up at the caravan park, no one could get the owner on the phone or email, utter waste of time, do not book thisVrbo were very helpful only out 1 star to leave the review"
