"We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed the experience of the comfortable and roomy Yurt, and the beautiful environment and surrounds of the Adelaide Hills. Albert, our host, was extremely attentive without being intrusive, and we were spoilt with fresh fruit, spring water, cakes and fresh towels when needed. The only negative is the distance of the kitchen and bathroom from the Yurt, about 50m, which, if you need to get up in the middle of the night, is a bit daunting! Loved watching the birdlife on the dam which the Yurt overlooked, and waking to their song in the mornings."

"We were particularly impressed with the hotel staff, who were obviously very well trained in hospitality, and with the cleanliness of our room. The restaurant and breakfast food was good. Best of all was the twilight safari operated by Monarto Safari Park staff. Our biggest suggestion for improving the resort experience is that the car park is moved to the side of the hotel so that people with rooms facing the car park have something more attractive to see. We also suggest that walking tracks around the hotel are constructed. It’s a wonderful environment for walks. "

" We have stayed here twice since it recently opened! THE VIEWS ARE BEAUTIFUL 😍 The kitchenette was well stocked with most items needed for a cook up. The two bedroom apartment (number 6) was our favorite.... down the end of the row and block out cutrains made the master room super dark. The 2nd stay we were in number 1 and unfortunately the high light window on both the side and above the door allows for the morning light to stream in... it was nothing my eye mask didnt fix though! Waking to the sounds of the rooster, goats and cows is just wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend this property if you have children as you can wonder around the farm anytime and even feed baby animals in the morning before the farm even opens to the public. This is our top pic when staying in Hahndorf now..... 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Well done Hahndorf Farm Barn Team! 🙌🙏 We will be back!! xx Jo & George "

"CABN Hahndorf is a beautiful concept and offers a peaceful escape in the Adelaide Hills. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, private, and perfect for a short digital-detox style getaway. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was fantastic, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and good quality—although the cabin bed could have been a little warmer, especially on cooler nights. One minor issue was the window fly wire screen kept falling on us so we had to temporarily jam it with paper towel. At the premium price point, however, a few additional touches would elevate the experience and make it feel like better value. Small inclusions such as a welcome hamper with local Adelaide Hills produce, fresh milk, or a few complimentary snacks would make a nice difference. Thoughtful extras like plush robes, locally made toiletries, or a short guide highlighting nearby wineries, walks, and local spots would also enhance the stay. Overall, it’s a lovely and relaxing experience, but a few extra touches would make it feel truly premium."
