"Good hotel and great location. Unfortunately due to their alcohol license, the bar doesn’t open until 3.00pm which I found irritating as I invited a few guests to join me for a drink at 12.00pm. After a conversation with a member of staff who went and spoke to the manager they opened the bar and served me. They should mention this on their website about bar opening times. Apart from the bar opening issue the hotel is good and great location."

The only suggestion would be for the floorboards in the room above Sopwell (ground floor) to be screwed down as these were squeaky when the occupant in the room above was moving around which woke us up as the squeaks were quite loud. The free parking was great and the system was easy to use, the instructions sent prior to arrival were clear for the check-in and checkout process. "

A reminder that the toilet door is a reused old front door, that means when you lock it, you should lift the handle up first and then turn the button. The shower door needs a bit hard push to lock and avoid water came out. Overall is satisfactory! If a mirror added inside door the wardrobe, it would be great. "
