"The property is absolutely charming! When you pull up you feel immediately welcome. The yard is perfectly maintained and beautiful. The cute little cottage was perfect for our needs, just big enough for us. We had enough room when my daughter - whom we came to visit - had plenty of room with her friend to come hang out and play games. The only bummer I have to point out is the lack of fencing. I saw the fences in the pictures and never realized that they do not connect to the house. I thought...

"We loved this place!! Like someone else said in another review, sitting on the porch feels like you're sitting right over the water. It was so comfortable, very straightforward to get checked in, and there was even spare coffee for us to enjoy in the morning. Right as we were leaving we saw a bald eagle battling with a duck on the river, maybe fifty yards from the patio. This was a remarkable place to stay!"

"This house is nestled in a suburban neighborhood of beautiful homes. The hosts were exceptional and answered our questions immediately. We found the house had everything we needed and were grateful for a washer and dryer. It was a wet weekend for our family racing on Dexter Lake. The location is minutes from convenient shops and U if O campus. When the weather is nice, the walk around the neighborhood is amazing."

The Orchard House is walking distance to campus and other spots we love like Beppe & Giannis, Prince Pucklers, Hey Neighbor Pizza, etc. Booking was a breeze, the home was very clean and welcoming. "This is an absolutely stunning place to stay! We were looking for a peaceful place to stay for the night so I could prepare for spinal surgery the next day and this was perfect. The host was very polite as well! We spent most of our time just relaxing in the private hot tub and enjoying the sounds from the little creek that runs in front. "I booked this place for two top reasons; The fact it was out in the country with a river view And because it had a hot tub on the deck I was disheartened that the hot tub was not functioning. I reached out to the property owner( right next door) and she said she knew nothing about the hot tub, but her husband did. I then reached out to the property manager- left a message and sent a text- never got a reply. I loved the done house itself. And the view was amazing!!!"

"I travel for work: I was so impressed with the staff, anything I requested was done. They had hot cookies in the evening for the guest and Gatorade to grab and go. Lets talk about location, close to the freeway but quite. This will be my new go to hotel. Much thanks again to the staff."
