Great location but please, and I say please..confirm that your room does not include a loft bathroom with no doors or walls. It was very inconvenient to have to share a room with your significant other and take turns standing in the hallway while one of you used the restroom. We checked out 3 days early to find a proper hotel.

Staff initially had issues finding my reservation as it was booked through Expedia. We loved the stone exposure in the rooms and it was super clean and quiet. It was easily accessible to the shop and restaurants as it was right out the door.

The Palace Suites has a prized location for a visit to Split. The hotel sits off the main plaza and is a few hundred feet away from Diocletian's Palace and the waterfront promenade. If you have an option of booking with breakfast, I recommend you decline. The breakfast offering is not great and there are so many great cafes and restaurants around the property to have breakfast

Great boutique hotel
Beautiful room, fabulous breakfast, right in the heart of Old Town. Take up hotel's offer of ride from airport or you may have difficulty finding it. Parking is distant challenging. One quibble: to truly be an eco hotel, towels shouldn't automatically be changed every night--at least let guest have a choice!

Great Location, But a Bit Disappointing
Pros: Nice breakfast, great shower and towels, comfortable bed and an elevator. Quiet considering its location (as in soundproof windows). Cons: The leather sofa was delaminating (see photo) and leaving annoying tiny black pieces of ultra-thin leather on anything that touched it. This was not something that just happened; this took time to deteriorate. In the sweltering heat, the air conditioning adjustment was blocked below 18C and seemed to cool to just barely an adequate range. No robes as advertised, and the minibar removed due to Covid. Four stars on perhaps its best day with a new sofa. MOST all of the staff were delighted to be of service. The driver they arranged for the 4:00am airport transfer was great. I wouldn't rule it out for a return trip but would likely try a similarly priced room in the same area first.

A Gem in Old Town Split
Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town Split. Great location, comfortable, very spacious and super clean! And it has an elevator!!! Matea was awesome!

This a good, very clean, modern, pleasant hotel in the center of old town and a few minutes to everything in town. It is a very small hotel on a side street, off People’s Square not very easy to find the first time. That said it is a tiny hotel, 4 floors, 2-3 rooms per floor accessible by a 2-person elevator or stairs. Lovely breakfast, modern and impeccably clean. The name of the hotel connotes a palace, so you do expect something grand or large and instead it’s the very opposite. But well appointed rooms, hard beds but the place tries hard. Super centrally located and well air conditioned.

The hotel is small with only a few rooms per floor and it is located in the center of the old town. The free breakfast was nice! Very convenient and rooms are comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Palace Suites. The location couldn't have been better right in the middle of old town. The staff were amazing the rooms were spacious and very clean. Great last night in Split.
Everything was great about this stay. Rooms had lots of space, clean and the staff was great. 1st floor rooms where noisy due to proximity to the kitchen and dining room. But all other rooms we booked where great. It was also extremely convineint being so close to coffee shops and restaurants.

The location of this property is what first got our attention. It is right in the old town a d walkable everywhere. Mate and his staff are superb. Nothing is too much trouble. We loved is so much we extended our stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is full of choice and good quality. Would totally recommend.

Amazing location, great service and room!
Palace Suites Heritage Hotel is arguably the best situated hotel in the Split Old City. It's convenient to the port, restaurants, and the Old Palace. They provided great service, helping with parking and ferry logistics, dinner reservations, and answering general questions. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and modern, and the morning breakfast was very good. I'd definitely stay here and would recommend it as a solid location with truly an unbeatable location for enjoying your time in Split.

Great stay in Old Town Split
Wonderful place in the center of everything in Split. Cozy yet comfortable room, lovely rainfall shower, nice breakfast with delicious local food. Only warning is possible nighttime noise, but my A/C drowned out anything and I feel asleep easily (and I am a very light sleeper). Perfect location to explore everything Split has to offer, from the Riva to Diocletian’s palace to watching the sunset in Markan’s park. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

Location, location, location. We arrived early, prior to check in and the staff was so accommodating. They let us store our luggage until our beautiful room with exposed walls was available. The breakfast was just what a traveler needs to get going in the morning and the location couldn't be better situated in the heart of People's Square and Diocletian's Palace. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

Be sure to stop in Split on your Croatia travels. The city is threaded through the ruins of Diocletian’s retirement palace. Great stay at Palace Suites- ideal location in heart of town and to my knowledge the only one with a lift. Special shout out to front desk who opened breakfast early so we could catch our ferry to Hvar.

Very large comfortable rooms. The breakfast was very nice and the service was good.The location was great, right in the center with lots of restaurants and access to all main streets. Keep in mind that there’s no direct access with cars since this is inside the old town, so you’ll have to walk through the town with your luggage when you arrive and depart. It’s a small price to pay for the great location though!

Great location! Could not been better! Clean and quiet building. Great staff! Breakfast was good, but boring and repetitive. We were there for 6 nights so we were over it after a few days. Overall great hotel!

Amazing location, but a 3-3.5 star feel
The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right in the heart of Split and close to every attraction the city has the offer. However, my room definitely didn't feel like a 4 start hotel room. The room was impractical, being divided into a big hall with a sit down sofa not opening into another bed and a fridge. Not sure what was the purpose of that area other than to fill the space with something. next to it, a shower and bedroom with a closet that couldn't be open fully due to a desk situated next to it. The sofa, closet and desk felt very outdated and run down. The shower looked good other than a boiler tank clearly visible. Water pressure was fantastic! However, due to the fact the water pressure was insanely strong (best I've ever experienced) and boiler tank quite small, the hot water ran out quite quickly. I like taking long showers, and I was one person. I can't imagine what a couple would do in the same situation. Other than that, the toilet paper holder and shower head holder were loose, which enhanced the non-luxurious experience. Housekeeping was inconsistent. one day the room was set for 2 people (2 sets of towels), and then for 1 person, and then again 2 people. Breakfast was basic, but good. The surroundings can be very noisy, and even though the windows are double glazed, noise can still be heard from outside area. I was on the first floor and was quite annoyed. Overall, good hotel, friendly helpful staff. and for the rate I paid I can't complain.

Everything about the hotel was fantastic, great location, very clean, comfortable, had a lift "the only hotel in the old town to have this" 2 mins from the Riva and the Palace. Breakfast was very nice. Really cant fault this hotel , the staff cannot do enough for you even walked my 85 year old mother to get a taxi. You are right in the middle of the square no transport allowed in this area. You have bars and restaurants right outside . You never hear any noise. Check out is 1030 am next time i would book the extra night as its a long day from 1030 am to 2130. You can change in the bathrooms at reception but no shower. Thats not a fault but just a lesson i learned .amazing hotel and city

if i can give this hotel more that 5/5 i would Amazing rooms, best location Staff are professional, friendly and very helpful Breakfast was good Everything was on point Only watch out that the nearest parking is 10 minutes away Would definitely stay there again
