"You can’t beat this property in Durango if you’re traveling with kids. Everyone is so friendly, indoor pool is great, breakfast and happy hour daily, and the location is 10/10. A 5 minute walk to Main Street and 2 min walk to the train station. We go every year for the Polar Express and have had nothing but a great experience. The only downside is that the property is outdated. "

"Great place to stay and a nice view of the river. Our room had a balcony off the room overlooking the river which was nice. Easy location to walk or drive into the town. We love staying here!"

"We had an amazing stay at the Strater Hotel! The hotel is very historic and is so nice.The staff was incredibly helpful. We scheduled some time in the hot tub which was lovely! It is right in downtown Durango, so walking to restaurants, bars and shopping is easy from the hotel. Highly recommend a stay at the Strater!"
