1. The Guest House Inn on Courthouse Square

Hinton

"We had an enjoyable stay here for 2 nights in the Rosemary suite. We were extra fortunate that the other suites in the building were not occupied so we had all of the common areas to ourselves. Everything was comfy, the kitchen has very nice appliances though no ice. The Market is a block away and a good place to grab a bite. One word of warning for booking through Expedia: make sure you get the door codes before you arrive; there is no front desk to check in at."

Top Southern West Virginia Hotel Reviews

Hampton Inn Charleston-Southridge

10/10 Excellent

"Clean friendly hotel in a very safe area. We came in to visit family this weekend with our two pups and had a great experience. Will definitely stay here again! The staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were spacious and clean. My only negative, and it's not a big one, is the free breakfast choices were sparse. But I don't base a hotel on their free breakfast as long as it's not gross or dirty in the area. It fed us and did the job."

DoubleTree by Hilton Huntington

10/10 Excellent

"I stayed for the Marshall Marathon. The room was very quiet and comfortable- perfect for a good sleep before a long race! They allowed us a later checkout to come back and shower after the race and the staff was very welcoming. (I even noticed the woman who checked us in cheering along the race course!) Will absolutely return!!!"

Quality Inn New River

8/10 Good

"The rooms open to the outside. The breakfast with a souvenir gift store was comfy. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, biscuits and cream chip beef. Erika at the front desk was friendly and helpful when we noticed our very clean toilet seat was loose. Maintenance fixed promptly. Friendly waiter at Elliot’s bar and grill. Warm Brownie Sundae was excellent. Worse part was the light that came around the curtains that made it hard to fall asleep."
