"Everything was absolutely spot on. From our initial greeting from Nicole who was on the front desk until the time we checked out. Most courteous hotel staff we have ever encountered, the room was immaculate, only stayed one night but it will be our hotel of choice whenever we visit Southampton."

"Upon arrival the house was not clean. We had just arrived from an overnight flight and needed to spend an hour cleaning. There was urine all over the toilet seat in the main floor bathroom, sinks were dirty in bathrooms and kitchen, counter top was filthy, microwave top was dusty, there were dead bugs on floors and live wasps in the house. The beds were okay comfort wise but stained. There were broken blinds in bedrooms and drawers interior were filthy. There were only 4 towels for 6 people. The host was very apologetic about the situation and did offer to have the cleaner come back but we were not comfortable with that. He did say he would refund the cleaning fee which we appreciate and hope to see that reflected soon. While the host was very communicative and aimed to fix all issues (they brought more towels), I can see on other websites other guests have had similar complaints. The cleaner that is being used absolutely needs to be replaced and a deep clean is needed including the stairs. "
