Top Southam Hotel Reviews
Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club
8/10 Good
"Great place to stay, room was very clean, staff were excellent and friendly, food was very good even if it is a touch expensive, but this is becoming the standard today in the uk with the prices going up everywhere. Would I stay again ? absolutely"
The Arden Hotel & Leisure Club
10/10 Excellent
"Dont normally go swimming when im away. Very clean. Sauna and steam room were amazing. Bar area was great to relax at the end of the evening"
The White Swan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous hotel in a brilliant location. Staff couldn’t do more for you and were so lovely and attentive. Great breakfast options and they went above and beyond getting us a fan on a particularly warm night. The basic room that we had was stunning and they kept in contact before my stay to ensure the room was made up to my request, and answered any questions I had. The hotel and pub is lovely, clean and decorated well and it has a lovely cosy feel to it. The location was perfect but we weren’t disturbed by noise despite the very central location. Couldn’t be happier with the stay"
Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed over the Comic-con weekend, and staff were nothing but helpful and welcoming. The Tea in the room were perfect for when I wanted to get back from con and just relax with a cuppa in hand. Anyway with that said, amazing stay."
Novotel Birmingham Airport
8/10 Good
"The very close proximity to the Birmingham International airport makes this hotel a good choice. It’s a very short walk across the street which was a real treat. The hotel rooms and corridors are showing wear and tear. My room was clean but it was overdue for paint and carpet replacement. I would stay there again largely for the convenient access to the airport terminal."
Hilton Birmingham Metropole
8/10 Good
"The staff were lovely, and the restaurant and rooms were very nice. Only major issue was that the carpet in our room was soaking wet, possibly from the previous guest or some kind of plumbing issue, and the whole room smelled of damp. Thankfully they moved us to a new room, and we had no issues after that."
ibis Birmingham International Airport – NEC
8/10 Good
"The hotel was clean and the service was good. The room was hard to cool down, but it was a heatwave. Breakfasts were good and the food was hot. Coffee not so great tho"
Village Hotel Solihull
10/10 Excellent
"The room was cleaned with modern furniture, spacious, the spa had a spacious jacuzzi and a lovely swimming pool as well as sauna and steam room. The staff were friendly and helpful."
Cotswolds Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We chose The Cotswolds Hotel and Spa for our honeymoon. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a junior suite overlooking the golf course, thank you. Some reviews we read prior to our visit were very negative, but we cannot fault the cleanliness of the room and public areas, they were spotless. Yes, some of the furniture in the room is a little dated, but the public areas were fresh and modern. As we are having a very warm summer, many previous visitors had commented on the rooms not being air conditioned, so we took our own tower fan with us. However, there was a lovely big fan in the room that also helped. The staff were extremely friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. My husband played the golf course twice and really enjoyed it. We hired a golf buggy for one of the rounds which was in excellent condition, it seemed to be brand new. Unfortunately the treatments were all booked up, so we cannot comment on these. We can highly recommend the pizzas, they were delicious. If you are having breakfast, the busy time mid week seemed to be between 8 and 8.30, it is much quieter either side of these times. The hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring the Cotswolds, we visited Bourton on the Water, Stow on The Wold, The Diddly Squat Farm Shop and Belnheim Palace (all within 30 minutes or less to the hotel). We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the Cotswolds. Thanks to all the team for a lovely visit."
