We had a wonderful stay at The Taj Mahal, New Delhi, and it was the perfect way to begin our trip to India. Our complimentary airport transfer made our early morning arrival stress-free; took about 30mins. A special thank you to Sakshi at Reception, who arranged an early check-in after a short wait and ensured we were allocated a high-floor Taj Club Room. We enjoyed a Viator tour of Old and New Delhi on our day of arrival and at 4:30 am the following morning for our Taj Mahal tour in Agra....

This hotel is attached to a huge shopping mall filled with western stores. It is a lovely hotel but far from the majority of attractions - that said there are taxis out the front who will wait for you at most destinations. Hotel was clean, pool and spa are nice but lots of pigeons around kept at bay by an employee. Would suggest going to Dhaba for North Indian food, right outside the hotel's own restaurant (which is fine but not great) on level 2. Bathroom was particularly good, nice shower...
