Merchants Manor

Merchants Manor

10/10 Excellent
"Room was very clean, nice and cool during the hot weather too and the same with the indoor pool. All the staff were lovely and were happy to help. The breakfast was nice, lots of option - especially for gluten free! Closest beach is only 10-15 min walk and the town centre is also only around 15 minute walk away too."

"A very comfortable hotel in a great location for either shopping in Truro or going further afield to explore this part of Cornwall - countryside, golf courses or coastline."

"Reception staff were excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast staff very attentive. Pool good, liked adult only swim time. Great to see a hotel of such an impressive age still going strong"

Greenbank Hotel

Greenbank Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We booked a balcony room overlooking the harbour with our dog. The staff on reception were wonderful. In our room there was a doggy welcome gift, treats toy poop bags. The room was large and comfortable. Robes slippers and a fan. We should have prebooked a table in the pub as it was busy, and dogs not allowed in the gorgeous restaurant, so thankfully we sat outside. Food and views were great. Close enough to stroll into town. Small green area where the dog could do her business at night and in the morning with handy bins. Hotel is very characterful. I would like to stay in the Florence Nightingale room next time. Parking around the hotel. Highly recommend."
