"Huge room and very friendly staff. Although they didn’t clean our room after the first night. I guess you have to inform them to? Also the breakfast buffet was weak. Just a bunch of breads really and dry foods. Went out to breakfast both mornings."

"Excellent responsive, courteous, professional staff. Furniture in room showing wear and tear but was clean. Shower was very slippery and shower mat strongly recommended to prevent falls. Excellent breakfast buffet. Will stay there again in the future."

"Great location, right off 35, easy access to wherever you want to go around Austin. Lots of good restaurants nearby, including the sushi spot connected. Super nice staff! Rooms were clean. Maybe the restrooms were a tiny bit aged, but not bad. Will come back next time we are in Austin."

"The Carpenter Hotel is a tropical oasis in the heart of Austin. We live in Austin but spent a weekend in the hotel and the lush gardens by the pool and open air dining felt like we had gone to Central America without the flights. The coffee shop is excellent as is the restaurant. We had complementary glass of chilled prosecco on our arrival. The hotel is built in the brutal architectural style and is tastefully and thoughtfully fitted out. Very close to many unique restaurants, urban trails and Barton Springs."
