"Allen and the other staff were great! It is a 1880 Mansion with 8 guest rooms and impeccably restored/maintained filled with antiques, just very relaxing. I would highly recommend for its charm, location and staff. Satori Restaurant 5-10min walk down street is Amazing food and service (ask for Shantell). Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely beautiful property. Super comfortable room with great bed and shower. Lovely decor throughout the place with a very tasteful mix of modern and original fittings. "Cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a Hilton, this is not for you. It is a very friendly small hotel right next to the penguins. The staff so friendly and helpful and the food was way beyond what I was expecting. Could not do enough for us. Thank you. "
"Lovely stay in a lovely place, without doubt one of the best views we have enjoyed in accommodation anywhere. Hosts are very hands off and that was fine as we didn't need anything. There is no lift to the property which might be an issue for an older or weaker peron but I am sure they would have helped and there is an asistant always around if you needed"
"The Mariner’s room had an incredible view over Simon’s Town harbor, was extra comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good and the location is away from traffic while 2 minutes drive to the waterfront and restaurants. Just mind the stairs to access the rooms, not for everyone."
