"The hotel is not fancy, but it is kept pretty clean. The room exceeded our expectations as it was spacious and the kitchen area had everything we needed. The plus side is the location with public transportation & Place d'Armes Square being walking distance. I would definitely book here again."

"I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The room felt unclean from the moment we arrived. We found what appeared to be bed mites in the bed, and we were itching throughout the night. The carpet had visible stains, and the towels did not look properly washed. The room was also cold, and the bedding did not feel fresh. The bathroom was not well maintained — the shower wasn’t working properly, and the toiletries provided were very poor quality and did not provide enough. The only positive part of the stay was the breakfast which included eggs, yogurt, bread, tea, coffee and fruits. The staff were friendly, but the service was inconsistent."

"The service at the front desk is horrendous, with a very argumentative manager. The house-keeping service is terrible, with room cleaning provided only every 3 days. Totally inadequate. The hotel refused to respond to complaints about the telephone not working. - no dial tone. The internet service is poor, and the face basin was clogged. Despite repeated requests, the hotel staff refused to address these issues. If you request a taxi, the front desk calls Diamond Taxi only. The customer service of this provider is very poor."

"Overall my stay was quite nice. The location is great, and I had a room facing the back, so it was really quiet. The room was really nice, super clean and pretty large. Check in was a little slow, but not that big of a deal. The breakfast was really good, quite pricey, but the food was made fresh, and the staff was really nice. Parking was a little pricey as well, but that is to be expected in the city. I would stay here again.. "

"We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown from April 9th to April 12th. Traveling with my mom and dad, we felt right at home. The suite was spacious and comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the downtown location made everything easily accessible. A very memorable and pleasant family stay despite of an unfortunate event that happened over the wkend. The front desk staff member (I believe his name is Abler) was very accommodating and friendly. He kindly offered me the option to park my vehicle in the open parking lot behind the hotel, which is also owned by the property, instead of using one of the affiliated parking garages. Overall, everything during check-in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. However, a serious incident occurred on Saturday around 2:15 a.m. My vehicle was broken into—someone shattered the rear passenger window in an attempt to steal my truck. Fortunately, the front desk staff member Sammy and the security officer (I believe his name is Anthony) responded quickly after spotting the activity on the surveillance cameras. By the time they arrived, one individual had already entered the vehicle and appeared to have interfered with my Ring camera, causing it to stop recording. When hotel staff approached, both suspects fled to a getaway vehicle that was waiting nearby. Thankfully, the security vehicle was positioned in front of my truck, which helped for them not to complete their act. "
