During this period of renovation we cannot fault any part of our stay, the staff were fantastic when it came to anything from booking cars to early hour check out and any issues were never too much trouble. With the Manor being a 25min walk to work in Windsor, it was the perfect location, safe car parking and our room was in its own private cottage just away from the main building with air conditioning fitted during the hot spell for a comfortable nights sleep. The train station is a stones throw away and approx 3 mins onboard to Windsor. The room was very well equiped.

Poor Condition
The 2 reception staff that dealt with us were absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
The hotel is very dated & crying out for a full refurb, our bathroom toilet was leaking & didn’t flush properly, the room was hot & stuffy, but the staff found a Fan for us to use, without the fan we would not have stayed.
We paid £120:00 for one nights stay which was £60:00 overpriced especially as the Bar & Restaurant was not available.
The hotel is in a brilliant location & deserves to have the money spent on it.
I would not book again in its present condition which is a shame as the location is good & the staff work very hard to try & make up for hotels condition.
whilst the ensuite was quite modern i didnt feel safe in the shower as the tray was very shiny and there were no handles at all to hold onto.
also nowhere to hang clothers in the ensuite and only a very small towel rail.
nearly there but a few inexpensive additions would make a massive difference
Stayed at Manor hotel with my son on 25/03/22 for one night. We new before arrival that due to a refurbishment no meal options were available but that was fine by us. However in the morning there was no hot water for washing or showering which I believe is a basic service for a hotel room. On checkout I mentioned this and asked if a refund was possible for the inconvenience. I was told by the checkout person that they could not approve this and the manager was not available. I politely paid in full but said I would email the hotel later. I am still waiting for any kind of response from this hotel, which is pretty terrible service in my opinion. I have looked at other reviews and found one had a similar issue with the water. The hotel generally was OK but is tired and needs a room refurbishment although the beds were comfy and clean. As described, customer service is severely lacking so would not use this hotel again on this basis.
During my stay there was no hot water therefore I could not shower even after changing rooms due to a really loud noise.

Good enough for a low cost hotel
Pretty worn hotel. Awful old tv, shower and toilet seat totally broken and old again. Just tired and in tested by anyone. However, good bed and comfortable for a single night.

Ok stay
Good location however no onsite parking, very cold in the room, taps fell off the bath, T AC signal temperamental
Hated all of it....smelt old & stale. No heating. Shower wasn't working. Needs an overhaul. Wasn't expecting to stay in a room in a private house next to the railway. Like Faulty Towers. Even my 8 yo daughter said I don't like this place can we go home.
The room on first impression was good but closer look used razors left behind bath and empty radox bottle bathroom floor not cleaned shower would not drain dirty spoons left thick in dust under window seat cobwebs hanging from light and power kept going off
Very cold. Radiator broken. Cracked and dirty sink. Room tired and furniture in need of updating. Used to be a lovely hotel, now bordering on being a grotty b&b! No staff to be found anywhere. They also never answer the phone. Stayed a couple of weeks ago and had an even worse room, where a large crack in the window was sellotaped over and again heating was not working and it was snowing! Thought it was a one off but obviously not. Best thing about it now is the breakfast. Really sad it is not being looked after!
For an alleged wedding venue, this hotel is awfully tired & shabby. The cream carpets were wildly discoloured throughout my suite. One of the towels was clearly used. The room felt disused & unclean, with a thick layer of dust on the toiletries, mouldy shower curtain & dirty and crumbling bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and wafer thin, with two sheets running crosswise so I was laying across the seam. I felt like I should have slept with my clothes on. I could hear people in other rooms and on the ground floor talking, showering, flushing the toilets. I had to pry parking information from the service staff, who were friendly enough, but not forthcoming with the information. not worth the cost either, well overpriced for the shabby accommodations.
Upon arrival the hotel looked a little tired. We checked into our room and were initially pleased with it. A decent size and in the middle of a heatwave it had aircon; fabulous! However we were only in the room about half an hour when the ceiling started to leak. Went down to reception to inform them. We were then moved to another room. So disappointing. Walking through the hotel it was noticeable that it was in desperate need of decorating and a thorough deep clean. On arrival to our new room we were greeted by a rickety wrought iron 4 poster bed, a filthy jet bath and no air con. The carpet was filthy and the bed was not comfortable. We complained to reception again and were moved to another room in a cottage adjacent to the main hotel. Although the room was smaller than our initial reservation it was cleaner and nicer than the second room we had been offered. We also received a room rate refund due to the room not being of the original description.
We didn't eat at the hotel, however we did try to order an afternoon tea only to be told they couldn't serve us as the chef wasn't on the premises. Another disappointment.
Location was ideal for where we needed. Reception staff were goid at their job but felt like they were just going through the motions. We werent told anything about the hotel facilities. Room was small but fine for 1 night.

Pretty hotel in pretty village, close to river and Windsor/Eton. Characterful room, though hotel is on noisy road, so roadside room was not quiet at all. Comfy bed. No breakfast, so can't comment on food.
Placed in annex across railway track, given wrong room number, confusion at reception over booking, very noisy under flight path and next to railway
Ordered red drinks in bar , while drinks sitting on bar staff sprayed fly spray .
We were not informed at any time that there would be a wedding reception on whilst we were staying there. This reception, understandably, had loud music playing until maybe 1 am so we couldn't sleep. When we complained to the receptionist about this the next morning she said that there was a notice up on check in (we weren't made aware of this) and even if this were the case being notified on check in is way too late. She also said that the wedding reception was in another part of the hotel so we shouldn't have been able to hear any music - were we lying?!

breakfast was terrible (tasteless)
beds are comfy though
tiny bathroom
Really liked this hotel. Great location for Windsor. The room was cosy and very clean. Only small snag was the use of an extension cable to the tv. Looked a bit messy and was the focal point of the room. Never been to Datchet before and really enjoyed the town. Very nice walks down to the river and enough amenities to get by easily.
Would recommend. Good price too! Including breakfast which was very tasty and plenty of it!
