Hyatt Regency Savannah

10/10 Excellent

"Came to celebrate an early birthday and stayed here for a weekend. Absolutely loved the view of the river all weekend long! The room was very clean, the shower was amazing. Only downside to this hotel was that they sadly use too much fabric softener, making the bedding and the towels feel really waxy (which you get used to after a little while). Second thing is that there is no hot tub but me and my family members had fun with the pool. We also loved the fact that the hotel was so close to pretty much everything downtown Savannah, you can walk to a lot of things within 5-30min (bars, restaurants, tours, the riverboat, etc) Definitely would stay here again"

"We really enjoyed our stay, even though our room wasn't quite what we reserved. We had reserved a room with a walk-in shower because my husband has disability and has a very hard time to step up over a bathtub. Well, our room had a bathtub, luckily, it was a lower tub and did have disability bars, so with my help and the bars he was able to get in to take a shower. Also, the toilet was a bit low for someone with disability to get back up off the toilet. Things to watch for if you have someone with disabilities. Other than that, we enjoyed the room and had a great river view. We did hear music in the evening because the room was right over a bar, but it did get quiet after 10pm. Only other problem from our location, that bar/restaurant received early morning deliveries, I was always woken up by the delivery truck and them unloading between 5:30 to 6am. Room was clean, staff was very friendly, and we found the bed very comfortable."

"Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were on the small side. No where did the upgrade from a standard rooms to the premimum say, it's the same room, just on the top 3 floors, so that didn't sit well because of the extra fee. Our first room had a musty smell, probably from the air conditioner so they were kind to switch our room; problem solved. Good customer service. Enjoied the drink token for the bar, much appreicated. I would return, just get a standard room."

"I have traveled the world for decades and JW Marriott Savannah Riverside is the finest, best run, most interesting, most friendly hotel that I have ever stayed in. Their staff is the best, most professional, most engaging, and most helpful of any high end hotel. Everything was great. Best ever!!!"

"The staff was wonderful, especially Ricky, who was consistently friendly and welcoming. Check-in was pleasant, and the maintenance staff was also very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the property itself needs attention. The hallway and room vents were dirty, the room had cracked plaster, and mold was visible around the windows. The front elevator being out of service was another major inconvenience. Overall, the staff provided excellent service, but the hotel needs significant improvements in upkeep and maintenance."
