I love this place! Beautifully decorated, slightly quirky, rather eclectic little place with beautifully appointed rooms overlooking a garden and a small valley. The most lovely and helpful staff imaginable. Great location close to the historic centre and about 2 minutes walk from the train station. This is my second stay here and I'll happily come back. Highly recommended.

A warm welcome by Rui and help with our bags created an immediate good impression and this high level of service was repeated throughout our stay. The staff certainly know how to run an efficient and comfortable boutique hotel. The provided breakfasts were a great way to start the day and prepare us for lots of sightseeing and walking. This is a beautiful property to stay in. The lovely gentleman who owns & runs this small hotel is so helpful & kind. The rooms were lovely, with good quality sheets & towels. Breakfast was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thankyou

It was an easy walk from the station. I was able to arrive early and leave my bag in the room while they were cleaning, then return in the afternoon and let myself in. The basement room was a whole apartment, there were small windows so it did not feel like a basement. Breakfast was delicious.

The rooms were small but there was a nice lounge area, the property was easily accessible, very clean. Breakfast was ok for the start of your trip

Great location, close to restaurants and bars, super friendly staff, beautiful hotel. Best and most comfy bedding! So nice to be able to rest and relax. In room fireplace and boutique details. Would 100% stay here again - just wish all my other hotels were the same!

Beautiful secluded spot with palace views. Private path into town was very scenic with a 20-30min walk but nice and steep on the walk back. Amazing host and dinner.
