It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. We loved this little hotel in the heart of historic Sintra! Just steps to all of the shipping and the lovely National Palace. Also right next to the bus stop for Pena Palace. I feel like we lucked out! It is charming. Highly recommend!

A wonderful oasis and a perfect shelter from the crowds in Sintra. A wonderful host, delightful rooms and a delicious breakfast spread. Perfect location for the village centre and easy to get an Uber or Tok Tok to Pena Palace. Restaurant opposite was an outstanding lunch choice

This is a cute and convenient place to stay in Sintra. The staff was responsive and super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the yummy breakfast and taking a break to sit on the patio in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend.

Very close to the historic center and restaurants. Clear access info provided via email ahead, having no issue getting in. But no reception after hours, be prepared. There was cake and nata left in kitchen, very nice. The room is clean, a large bottle of water in room. Shower and toilet are glassed areas inside the room. You have to dry and dress in front of your travel partner. The vanity is a bit too small. The breakfast is well prepared. We need to leave very early, and the lady was so kind to prepare our breakfast and left in the fridge for us the night before. She also pointed us to the spot close by for free parking. The space frees up late in the night and early in the morning (before 8) and fills up quickly. Otherwise, parking is a bit headache in Sintra.

Indira was the most wonderful host for us in this journey! Breakfast was always delicious. On our last day, she even accomodated her schedule to our early checked out and helped us carry our luggage to the taxi station. She made our stay enjoyable and very pleasant.
