Location was great and parking was easy. The staff was eager to please and breakfast was nice. The property itself needs some attention. Furnishings and some parts of the building are tired and in need of updating. It was very quiet which made for a good sleep.

Location was perfect we could walk everywhere and the local bus and train services were close and easy to use. The hotel offered an oasis to return to at the end of a busy day sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which included four days sightseeing in Sintra and one day in Lisbon. We arranged a car to transport us to and from the airport, that the hotel recommended and Nuno could not have been more helpful.

Aside from arriving early and a bit of confusion with the front enterance our stay was beautiful, unique and wonderful. We loved being in Sintra when the tourists had not arrived yet for the day; it made us appreciate its beauty and the special aspect of staying in town all the better. The hotel met our expectations and added an extra special quaint aspect to our trip to Portugal.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We were sick so we spent most of our time in the hotel room and it was so comfortable and quiet. The staff was so nice and even moved us to another room when there was a leaky roof. The breakfast was yummy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Do be aware that it’s quite a walk uphill when you leave.

The hotel is very quiet and peaceful, yet located close enough to historic center. Lots of nature at your footsteps. The breakfast is perfect for light eaters. The room is what is expected from a historical inn. The only downside is the availability of on site staff. This was not a major problem but when arriving you need a gate code to access parking.
