Village Hotels in Singapore

"Great room, comfortable bed, great attention to detail (eg. Night lights, torch),had a city view but overlooked a building site below but they refunded us the upgrade we’d paid without an issue. Staff were friendly and kind. Breakfast outstanding. Slow service at poolside (half an hour wait for a drink). Umbrellas on offer to use as it was raining hard. Surprised when came to payment as a service charge was also added along with the taxes. Don’t think this was mentioned when we booked on Expedia."
