"Basic but comfortable"

"I checked in around 5pm. And on checking the room the thermostat was not working. I called the desk right way that temperature is set up at 23 and thermostat is not working. The guy at front desk said someone will be there in 15-20 minutes. No body showed up for an hour. I went to front desk and told them please fix it im heading out for an event will be back in few hours just bring it to 19c. They said okay. I clearly mentioned them that i have migraine issue i cant sleep in heat. They said it will be fixed when u come back. I came back around 11 it was still the same. Room was hot. I called the front desk again. Same answer someone will be there in 10-15 minutes. Still nobody came for 30 minutes. I went downstairs and explained the situation again. After 10 minutes they send the guy with me and on checking he said we can’t fix it. They asked us to change the room at 1am. It was so frustrating. Then i called the front desk again that we will be checking out at 12 as it’s already too late. But next morning housekeeping lady start knocking on door around 11. And didn’t stop for good 5 minutes. It was worst hotel ever and never had this kind of bad experience in any hotel."

"Easy to get to from route 2 and very close to Calgary airport. Housekeeping was good, but front desk staff while polite were not as warm and welcoming as I am accustomed. Breakfast as part of my silver status with Expedia was ok, only five choices, none of which are anything worth writing home about. Good enough for free. Room was spacious and clean, the open shower concept was much to be desired…water splashes everywhere! The room was also very quiet for being close to the airport."
