The Imperial Torquay

"Before arriving and after reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned but don’t believe all the bad reviews. Fantastic hotel, the staff were amazing, very accommodating. Especially the two men in the restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. We opted for a double deluxe with balcony sea view. When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"No lift. Staff helpful and polite. Clean however my bathroom needs the tiles re-groutting and bath needs re-sealing. Slept well. Food good. Only short drive to many interesting places."

"Service excellent with high ratio of staff to guests. Enjoyed all food including light bites served outside or in beautiful sun lounge with sea views. Only downside in a heat wave, the bedrooms aren’t air conditioned but fans are provided."
