"It was a wide traditional tadami room. The wash stand is too short for us (I am 174 cm tall and my wife is 166 cm tall). Except that, traditional Japanese gaisheki dinner and breakfast were excellent. Especially, the miso soup with clam at breakfast was great, the best taste that we experienced during the Hiroshima trip. "

"One cannot honestly review this place without seperating the food from the accommodation. The proprietor is sushi chef SUPREME and the dinner course was the most awesome sushi wife and I have EVER had (and we've travel extensively throughout Japan to know). Every dish is prepared in front of you and served one at a time so be prepared to spend a while to enjoy the full course. Even if not staying here, highly recommend you come here for unforgettable sushi. The stay is a little like being in a hostel, superior in room quality but with shared bath and toilet (which is also used by restaurant customers). Everything is modern and clean and the room is nicely decorated but has a tiny sink in the corner for washing face and brushing teeth. I believe there's only 2 rooms upstairs that is accessed by a steep, narrow staircase so if you're a large or heavy set person, probably this is not a comfortable place to stay. Also, DON'T bring lot of heavy luggage because it's a long walk from the ferry terminal, lot of it over unpaved, bumpy sandy road. Besides, it's unsafe to have the ladies who work here to carry it upstairs.Again, the sushi is to die for, EXCEPTIONAL, but the actual stay is not for everyone. But for the adventurous and ones who appreciate traditional setting at a fantastic price (considering the dinner course alone is worth so much more than what high priced sushi restaurants charge for an inferior product), highly recommend a stay here, or at least stop by for a meal."

"I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Kenji-san provided such a cozy comfortable stay on his organic farm with a one of a kind view of the Setouchi Inland Sea or as he calls it “the Japanese Mediterranean”. Kenji kindly gave us tour upon arriving and showed us all the facilities including a traditional cedar tub and we shared very engaging conversation on the drive to and from the property. "The property is very nice, clean and modern. The living room is a comfortable place to relax. Please be aware that this is a 3 bedroom property and the other rooms will be occupied by other guests. The kitchen, living room, toilets, and bathroom are all shared with the other guests. The house is lovely but has very thin walls and doors and you can hear all the other guests, even when they are trying to be very quiet. If the other guests leave early in the morning you will very likely be woken up. It is a nice place to stay but please consider this when booking. "
