The staff gave us a very warm welcome and let us book a taxi to/from Banbury Train Station (£6 there are back) so we could then take a bus to Silverstone. The hotel was nicely decorated and was very spacious. It is next to a country lane/A road so you can hear traffic, but it's not loud enough to be a nuisance.
