"Sadly we had to book breakfast over the phone the previous night,that is any one picked up the phone, we realised this when our answer phone message wasn’t passed on . It felt like the owners really didn’t care for their guests and didn’t want the hassle in dealing with them. The poor young lady was coping well with the problems thrown at her but we definitely will not be staying there again. "

Television has to be operated via your mobile phone app (ideal for tech people) not so good for others. Continental Breakfast very disappointing, misdescription of what is expected of a continental breakfast. Staff not alert had to ask for refill of coffees toast and conserves. Slow service. Not value for money, would not stay again."

"The house is very well maintained and welcoming! We had a large family stay together, all of the living rooms, dining room, an kitchen made for a wonderful space for us to be together. The house is fully furnished for an infant/toddler - high chair, crib/cot, plates and bowls, utensils, some games and books!"

"We had a fabulous stay at Crown Cottages. The cottage has a lovely homely feel and was well equipped with everything you would need . We visited The Crown pub several times and had a lovely meal in there on Sat. We also visited The Green Man Pub opposite and they were very friendly and accommodating.Great communication from the host and we’d very much like to stay again in future."
