"Great stay. All the amenities you could wish for. Very clean, loads of toys for small children and a lovely garden. Barbecue area and play area also great. Parking was easy too with a large parking space that had room to get out two children with car seats. Extra parking available at the bottom of the road. "
"This hotel is simply wonderful. The staff is charming and efficient. The restaurant and food superb. The room luxurious. The surrounding gardens and landscape beautiful. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in hundreds. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny. "
"History on the doorstep with the rained castle.
Complete with moat.
Lovely pretty small village.
Not an extensive menu.
Very tasty and well cooked food.
Very attentive service.
Seating inside and outside by the stream.
We had the basic twin bedded room.
Which was as the room suggests basic.
Very clean and comfortable bed.

"Good value for the location and price. Plumbing was a bit wonky and beds could be a bit better. Overall a solid option though and relatively close to Bath. "

"Nice dining area for breakfast and evening meals. Good variety of options for breakfast and a varied evening meal menu. Beds are nice and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities in room. If I had have known it was so pet friendly I may have brought my pet. Convenience store with ATM on other side of street for any other items. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I would stay again when I return to the area as I likely will."
"A beautiful cottage in the countryside. Clean, comfortable, welcoming, and exactly as described. We used this cottage as a base to visit local attractions and family in the area. My daughters loved it and I found it had everything we needed and was perfect for us. "
"I made a last minute booking and didn't arrive until midnight. My room was absolutely lovely. Super comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic. I really cant recommend highly enough. "
