"An enjoyable stay in a clean and maintained room (renovations are underway in some public areas and some rooms having total renovation) Breakfast excellent and served quickly via friendly team, hotel busy but everything smoothly supplied. Good nights rest and useful the secure parking for a town centre location"

"It was lovely and cosy and staff were very welcoming. Loved the bar and my food was delicious. Negative - not sure water glasses were clean as there was water in them. Soon put right when I asked for a clean one from the bar."

"A lovely pub in a picturesque setting. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately we had an early start the day we checked out so had to leave before we could have a cooked breakfast but upon letting staff know the night we checked in they were able to do us up a takeaway breakfast which was very thoughtful. We ate at the pub the afternoon we arrived and had an amazing roast dinner. A very nice place to stay that’s in a nice quiet location. Would stay again if I needed somewhere to stay in the area. "
