This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "Hotel is in an excellent location, handy to historical centre. We booked the room based on having air conditioning, which it had but it didn’t work. So room was too hot and impacted sleep. Room had no fridge. When we asked for an ice bucket to cool drinks this was reluctantly provided. Reception lady said we needed to buy drinks from bar rather than drink our own. When travelling on a budget this is our choice as to how we drink. On Saturday morning street sweeper and garbage trucks run early so it’s hard to sleep in. Wifi was good."

"The room was spacious and clean. Night time is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was adequate. I prefer more fruits and vegetables. Besides a visit to the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, you can take day trips to other castles. We rented e-bikes in Amboise and rode to Château de Blois and back. Drive t, about 1 hour each way."

"Stayed one night. In my opinion, this property does not match the level of quality I usually associate with Best Western hotels in the US. The room felt outdated and could have been cleaner. The carpet was quite dirty, and the curtain was partially off the window when we arrived.. On the positive side, the room itself was spacious, there was plenty of street parking nearby, and the reception staff were very kind and welcoming."
