"Very nice cottage located in a beautiful village. Very quite and peaceful (albeit the neighbours dog never stops barking). Cottage well appointed with everything you need, spacious (we were only two) with a lovely outdoor space and pool area. Slightly tatty and tired, and not as clean as it could have been (bathroom smelt horribly of damp for example) but overall a very nice place to stay."

"The property was just as described and was wonderfully quiet and private. We loved the heated pool and spa which we were able to use even though the weather was not hot. We also enjoyed visiting places of historic and artistic interest even though this often meant driving quite far to get there."

"We loved the location of this unique property with beautiful views of the river. Very quiet with nature surroundings. Our dog felt at home and we could leave her in the big garden while we were out. Anne is very helpful and accommodating our needs. We liked it so much we are coming again for Christmas with the whole family."

"This unusual property has been sensitively renovated to preserve a wealth of original features. The light touch gives visitors a chance to glimpse what life might have been like when it was used as a farm house for the chateau. While very close to Cordes, the setting, beside fields and in amongst trees, makes it a very peaceful location. During our stay many bats, stars and a few meteors were seen in the night sky. The pool, with its fence for keeping the deer at bay, was wonderful!"

"ménage fait au minimum (frigo -cheveux douche etc...) le pire : une soi-disant piscine très très sale et pas nettoyée durant notre séjour - dehors chaises et tables très sales (la propriétaire nous a dit qu'il suffisait de les laver, elle n'avait pas eu le temps de le faire !!!!, ne parlons pas du barbecue : inutilisable - pas d'internet et le pire ; poulailler donnant sur le petit jardin derrière, des mouches en permanence, abominable ! Gite à zapper d'office ! la propriétaire est de mauvaise...

"The gite is in a very rural location. It was generally ok. We stayed 3 nights, the one bedroom has a very slanted roof and it’s easy to bang your head on the ceiling. The stairs are also quite steep and again you have to be careful. My main comment are around the lack of small things like no shower mat, nowhere to put soap/ shampoo in the shower, only 2 dishwasher tablets, no dishcloth, one sponge/ scourer pad, no cleaning sprays, one tea towel, one laundry capsule, a small amount of washing up...

"Josianne and Jean-Pierre could not have been more welcoming. The Pigeonnier is small but delightful, and it feels like a real privilege to be able to swim in such a beautiful pool in grounds teeming with butterflies! We will definitely find an opportunity to return!"

"Parfait petit gîte pour une personne ou un couple. Je cherchais un pied-à-terre en pleine campagne, à la fois assez proche d'Albi pour y retrouver des amies et de divers autres lieux à visiter (Cordes, Cagnac...) et de randonnées. Le gîte est très beau et le cadre magnifique (ah, les soirées à regarder les étoiles, loin de toute lumière artificielle !). Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. "This cottage is a wonderful home and our hosts were wonderful too. They had thought of everything that guests might need for their comfort and they were so helpful and kind. The cottage is set in the most peaceful location we have ever visited with no noise or light pollution so the perfect place for relaxation and refreshment.
