A stay at Blue Heron Lakehouse is much more than a vacation — it’s an experience. From the moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted with sweeping views of Lake Sammamish and the Cascade Mountains. The home is filled with contemporary artwork, thoughtful design and luxurious finishes that create a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Although just 25 minutes from Seattle, the property offers complete privacy. Surrounded by woods, gardens and water, it feels like a true retreat. Terraces step down to the lake, and a winding path leads to a quiet Zen garden with a natural stream and waterfall.
Inside, the home has three distinct living areas. The great room features panoramic lake views, a curving sectional, and an open chef’s kitchen with granite counters, high-end appliances and All-Clad cookware. The dining area seats eight at a live-edge table, and a balcony with a bistro set is perfect for morning coffee. The media lounge includes a full granite bar with Sub-Zero beverage fridge, a poker table and a 75-inch TV with 5.1 surround sound, while the sunny family room offers a comfortable space for TV-watching, reading or conversation.
The main floor includes the primary suite with lake and mountain views and its own private bathroom, plus a bunk room for four that shares a bathroom. On the lower level, three additional bedrooms — the Stream Room (king), Patio Suite (queen, with private bathroom), and Lakeview Room (queen) — open to terraces or gardens. All bedrooms feature luxury linens, bathrobes, and plush duvets.
Outside, terraces and gardens lead down to the lake, a perfectly sited hot tub affords lake and mountain views. The renovated boathouse provides a lounge area with kitchenette and opens to a flagstone dining terrace with a Lynx grill and teak table for eight. A deck with fire table offers another space for gathering.
At the water’s edge, a broad lakeside terrace offers plenty of space for relaxation and entertaining. A large seating area with a sectional and side chairs is situated under a huge umbrella, and a dining table for eight makes outdoor meals easy. Flagstone walls, draped in star jasmine, fill the air with fragrance in summer. The long dock provides direct access for swimming, kayaking, and boating. Three kayaks are included, and a boat lift with whips accommodates guests bringing their own watercraft.
Wildlife is abundant, including herons, eagles, and various songbirds. Blue Heron Lakehouse combines comfort, privacy and lakeside living for a memorable Northwest getaway.
