"This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The remodeled 1934 art-deco former post office and custom house is beautifully appointed, in keeping the style. The 13 foot windows are gorgeous. The rooms also beautiful and incredibly clean. I wish every hotel I stayed at was as nice as this. And it's relatively inexpensive! "

"Great hotel in a great location for the Great Casino Arena. Only down side, limited climate control in the room. There was a notice in the room advising that their system was in winter mode. So by the afternoon, my room was about 81 degrees and unable to turn on the A/C."

"great location, right by the train station that goes to the nfl stadium. the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. they have snacks and drinks at the front that are complimentary. the room is small but the perfect size. room includes a full size fridge, stove top, microwave. the room was modern and clean. you have to take out the trash on your own but it was fine because it is a big garbage bin. "

"This is always my go-to hotel when staying in St. Paul. The hotel is always clean. The staff is friendly. They have a shuttle service if you’re going to concerts at Grand Casino Arena. It’s in a great location. The hotel is nice and quiet. The breakfast bar is always well stocked and has good food. I also enjoy that they have snack items for purchase at the front desk area. Overall, it’s my favorite hotel and I always enjoy my stay."

"Just simple stuff, like is the room on the first, second or third floor, if a person has a quest and they have a difficultly with stairs that could be a deal breaker: “It should be posted” that the unit in question is on whatever floor…"

"The hotel was ok; the WiFi never worked, and the TV in the room would intermittently stop working. The elevator and room entry cards would randomly stop working, which was also very inconvenient. The room's climate control was also very hard to regulate. I have a travel clock that tracks temperature, and it was always 5-10 degrees warmer in the room than what I would set the thermostat on. "
