"Parking is always interesting. But did find a open, somewhat somewhat close parking ramp. Inconvenient due to pouring rain tho. Check in and out was quick. Next morning a plate of old food was outside another quests door a few doors down. There when we went for breakfast and there when we checked out at 11. Rooms were being cleaned around ours because the cart was on the floor. Breakfast was in the restaurant and had an awesome selection of items! Fresh fruit too!"
Breathtaking Victorian Mansion~2 Blocks to Cathedral~HUGE Hidden Arcade~Theatre!
10/10 Excellent
"We had 20 of us (6 siblings with spouses, kids, and grandkids, ages 3 to 60), and there was plenty of room for everyone without feeling crowded. The arcade was a big hit with the under-18 crew, while the front porch became the gathering spot for the 50 crowd. The screened-in porch was perfect for buggy evenings.Since we raise beef, we brought plenty along, and the extra fridge in the second kitchen was a lifesaver. The gas range made cooking for this army much easier. The house itself is older but very well kept. The squeaky floors and stairs just added some charm—no need for an alarm system! The 3rd-floor bedrooms each had their own mini-split AC systems, which made temperature control easy. If that’s important to you, those are the rooms to grab. The first-floor communal spaces and second-floor bedrooms could use a little more cooling—extra fans would help circulate the air.The neighborhood is quiet, with other large estates nearby, and it’s just a short walk to the park. A great place for a big family gathering."
"The Celeste was an adorable boutique hotel with lots of character and charm. Once a convent the hotel is full of beautiful stained glass windows, religious artwork and antique furniture. Breakfast is included and the bar is open daily for food and cocktails. Our room and bath was comfortable. "
