Unique homey atmosphere, good, full breakfast, convenient bar, amazing decor, and welcoming staff. Light rail stop nearby attracts creepy characters so best to have a car. Not an area to walk, especially at night.

The management has done a wonderful job in updating and maintaining this beautiful historical building. The rooms are spacious, clean and modernized. Staff is helpful and polite. Sound/noise from other rooms and the outside street are easily heard and could be disruptive to sleep (ear plugs/ or white noise recommended for lite sleepers). Breakfast buffet had a moderate selection of food and beverages. Overall happy to have stayed here.

We were in a room in the basement so there was more noise. But overall for a one night stay it was fine! The nun photos around the hotel and in the room was cool . Breakfast was pretty good other than the orange juice I think was expired, tasted sour.

I didn't know the history of the building before booking. I liked the historic building atmosphere. We were in the Garden level and room was very plain but functional as we were there only to sleep after a concert. The breakfast was also a great surprise and had good variety. If you're looking for a quiet place, however, I would not recommend it. You could hear street traffic and people talking in the hallways.
