The apartment matched the listing photos well in layout, brightness, and spaciousness. The living room was large and full of natural light. The location is excellent, with many coffee shops, restaurants, and convenience stores within walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe, quiet, and convenient. The building is older, but uses a very modern facial recognition security system with multiple gated access points. One detail not mentioned in the listing is that after the second gate, there are two staircases (about 8–10 steps each with a landing) before reaching the elevators. This is important for guests with luggage or mobility concerns. The host helped us carry our luggage up. The host was proactive and communicative, explaining before arrival that a storm affected the guest bedroom's AC unit and refrigerator. Both were fixed the same day and worked properly afterward. The unit was clean, but didn’t feel freshly cleaned. I noticed a few small hairs in the bathrooms. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of storage. The guest bedroom only had a bed and was partly used for storage. Both mattresses were very comfortable (pillows were just okay).Bathrooms were fine overall, and the showers were excellent with strong pressure and hot water. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware and utensils (no paper towels). The coffee setup is Brazilian-style, using a different pod system than U.S. machines.Wi-Fi was strong during the day but slowed down at night.
